Elia was born on Earth, but she’s not from there. Raised in seclusion due to her unnatural abilities (sharp reflexes, super strength, and the ability to heal herself), Elia has grown bitter of this world she lives in—which has been all but destroyed by past generations—as well as its hopeless inhabitants who have all but given up on life. Deep down, she knows she doesn’t belong there, but she knows nothing else. Definitely not about the place where she actually comes from.
But after her father suffers an accident and becomes bed-ridden, Elia has nothing holding her to her town and so she sets off to see more of her world, to find the place where her father first found her mother all those years ago (bloodied, beaten, mortally wounded—and nine months pregnant). But as soon as Elia comes upon that long-forgotten cabin, she is attacked and captured by two monstrous creatures the likes of which she’s never seen before. Creatures that drag her from the only world she has ever known and thrust her through a portal to a new world.
Tietha. Her mother’s world. Her world. The world where she should have been born, where she was always meant to be. A world with people just like her, a world that contains countless powers and abilities and magics.
But it is also a world filled with darkness and evil. A world that fills her head with awful visions of what’s to come. A world containing a creature that has been kept in slumber for thousands of years.
Iavla.
With Elia’s presence in this new world, cosmic events have finally been set in motion. Iavla is about to awaken and it’s all because of her. But Elia may be this world’s (and the next’s) only hope of finally stopping him and the vile plans he has in mind to bring all the worlds to their knees...
The second book of the Lonesome Road series is underway and its release date and title will be announced soon.
